Gertie Goes Out, my first book, is about a girl who leaves her room and encounters fascinating birds, animals and simple objects along her way. Sometimes they take her by surprise, sometimes they scare her, and sometimes she finds a real friend.

The artwork in this book was created between 2013 and 2015. You may find them metaphoric, bizarre or poetic, or even all three at the same time!

The book is square 7"x7" (17.7cmx17.7cm) perfect-bound paperback, it has a glued spine, 44 pages, 22 illustrations and a cover. It is printed on the Espresso Book Machine. The interior pages are black and white and the cover is full color.
